Welcome to Limpert In Leopard!

I’m Nicole Limpert, a fashion obsessed, seamstress by day – designer by night, leopard & lace wearing type of girl. I believe that leopard print is a neutral, you can never go wrong wearing Kate Spade, and that you can never have too much glitter. I own more pink items than I can count and I can’t even remember half of the shoes that I have in my closet. My personal style is feminine, girly, and a little bit whimsical. A girl can never have too many floral prints, bottles of nail polish, or flirty A-line dresses. I tend to lean towards lace, silk, and sheer fabrics when I picking out new looks. I enjoy mixing prints, textures, and colors to create interesting looks. I love shopping (online & in-store) and trying to incorporate new trends into my wardrobe.

I got my bachelor’s degree in fashion design and merchandising in 2015. I have a strong passion for sewing and creating garments. I occasionally wear some of my own original designs on my Instagram page. I am constantly featuring new fashion sketches, drawings, and paintings that I have recently made. Fashion is my true passion and I express it in every way that I possibly can. Within this blog, I am sharing my personal style tips and tricks, sketching tutorials, and sewing tutorials. Follow along to stay updated!

When I’m not working on my fashion hobbies, I am spending time with my new hubby ( We just got married in September!), cuddling with our fur baby (a one-year-old orange tabby cat named Ginger), watching movies (especially rom-coms!), reading books (always looking for new suggestions), or working on seasonal craft projects. I am originally from Michigan, but I have been living in Knoxville, Tennessee for the last year. I have to say the weather here is much more suitable for stylish outfits, as summer lasts through October, and I still haven’t gotten enough of the Smokey Mountain views.
